SFD Week 2: Mercury in the Microwave
I’m two weeks into this book-writing project and the words continue to flow. They’re flowing quite easily and I’m enjoying the process. This book is quite different from my first two in that I’m not telling my stories or detailing a process. I’m having fun letting it flow.
As a reminder, the book’s about:
Writing with the moon or nature’s rhythms. The actual title is TBD. This feels to me like it will be a guide to keep by you as you create or reestablish a writing habit. Not the actual title. It’s the direction I’m going.
I always recommend people write about what they know. I’ve been teaching my writing community and clients how to find writing flow with their menstrual cycles (if they have one) or the moon for a few years now. Having hosted 29-day writing challenges a handful of times, the writing is coming easily.
Because there’s an astrology component, I’ve intentionally stopped reading any astrology advice from any astrologer. Most are new agey and into dark things like tarot, reiki, oracle cards. To gather the information I need, I’m using a basic site — Cafe Astrology and the rest, I’m co-created with the Divine.
