SFD Week 7: Slow and steady spiffing up
With us in the new moon energy, the energy for output has been a little low and slow. Which is fine — remember, we never blame the moon for what’s going on in our lives. I knew we’d be in the balsamic moon early in the week (even though my ego wanted to resist it and just go) so I knew this wouldn’t be the week for tons of work on the book.
As a reminder, the book’s about:
Writing with the moon or nature’s rhythms. The actual title is TBD. It will be a guidebook to keep close as you create, reestablish, or deepen a writing habit.
I always recommend to my coaching clients that they write about what they know. I’ve been teaching my writing community and clients how to find writing flow with their menstrual cycles (if they have one) or the moon for a few years. Having hosted 29-day writing challenges a handful of times (and the next one starts today — you can still jump in), the writing is coming easily.
Finding Flow participants in this round will get to work with the book’s contents as I review and share the advice for each day. This is like a case study before the beta readers come in.
